Originally from Argentina, Jonathan Abad has dedicated his life to the art of hair color. With more than two decades of experience in the beauty industry and 14 years in New York City, his career has been shaped by a passion for craftsmanship, continuous education, and an instinct for creating color that feels effortlessly beautiful.

Jonathan began his journey in the salon industry at a young age in Argentina, where he developed his foundation in hairdressing and later trained at the prestigious Oscar Colombo Academy. He continued his professional development with Staff Cerini, one of Argentina’s renowned salon institutions, where he spent six years as a hair colorist before bringing his expertise to New York City.

In New York, Jonathan became part of the Bumble and bumble family, where he spent more than a decade immersed in the brand’s culture of artistry, education, and innovation. Throughout his time there, he received extensive advanced training and developed the ability to work confidently across a wide range of hair types, textures, and color needs.

Jonathan specializes in dimensional, natural-looking color, seamless highlights, sophisticated blondes, and color correction. His signature approach is rooted in soft, natural transitions and beautifully blended results—color that enhances each client’s individuality rather than overpowering it.

For Jonathan, hair color is more than a technical service. It is about creating confidence, connection, and a reason for every client to leave the chair with a smile.

Over the years, his chair has welcomed an incredibly diverse clientele, from CEOs and influential professionals to young creatives and students.
