Prior to joining Salon 689, Zhen began his styling career at a very young age in China, where he quickly discovered his natural talent and passion for hair. Moving to New York City was a pivotal step, a way to challenge himself creatively while embracing a new culture and language. That experience not only broadened his perspective but deepened his artistry.

In 2001, Zhen joined the highly respected team at Salon AKS, marking the true beginning of his New York journey. His dedication and skill evolved rapidly, earning the attention and loyalty of clients drawn to his precision and distinctive aesthetic.
